Terms & Conditions -  Blue Vista Motor Lodge

Reservation Policy

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, and is fully refundable up to 7 days prior to your visit.

  • Your reservation will be confirmed once your deposit has been received. We will send you an email confirming receipt of your payment.

  • All reservations are guaranteed until the day of arrival.

  • Blue Vista reserves the right to charge a fee of $300 / per person for guests staying in the room in excess of the room’s maximum capacity (One child, aged 5 and under, will not be included in your guest count.)

  • Need extra sleeping spots? We offer a portable crib and a rollaway cot but supplies are limited. Please let us know if you would like to reserve one for your stay.

Cancelation Policy

  • We get it - life these days can be full of surprises! If you need to cancel your reservation, let us know at least one week in advance to have your deposit refunded.

  • “No shows” will have their reservations canceled and deposits forfeited

Check in - Check Out

  • Check in time is 3pm - 8pm Sunday to Thursday and 3pm - 10pm Saturday and Sunday

  • Check out time is 11am

  • A credit card and valid form of Government ID is required upon check in. The guest making the reservation must be over the age of 21 and present on site.

  • Remaining reservation balances (with taxes included) will be charged to your card at check in

Enjoying the Property

  • Fire pits are available for guest use nightly

  • The Sauna and large hot tub are open to all overnight guests, weather permitting, from 9am to 8pm on Sunday - Thursday and 9am to 10pm on Fridays and .

  • You can rent our smaller hot tub for your private use for an additional fee of $50 per hour.

  • Bathing suits are required in hot tubs and saunas

  • Quiet hours are observed on the entire property from 10pm - 7am

Smoking Policy

  • Breathe in, Breathe Out. Enjoy the mountain air! But, don’t smoke within 50 feet of the building or outdoor amenities. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems.

  • Smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in an extra cleaning fee of $500.00

Damages

  • Damages caused to the Blue Vista Motor Lodge property, beyond normal wear and tear, will be the Guest’s responsibility

  • If upon checking into your room, you see something is missing or broken, please let us know immediately!

  • Fluffy shower robe? Soft towels? Best pillow you have ever laid your head on? We know! But, if they are missing after your stay, there will be a charge to the credit card on file and we won’t talk about it again!

Lost and Found

  • Can’t find your phone charger? Those earrings you got abroad and can't live without are missing? No worries! We keep a lost and found and would be happy to hold or mail your items to you! Items left behind will be held for 90 days.

  • We recommend guests use their in room safe for all important items and documents during your stay.

Parking

  • Will there be parking? The most important question of the trip! The answer is yes! Blue Vista Motor Lodge guests will be able to park on property, just a few steps away from your room!

  • Blue Vista Motor Lodge is not responsible for damage or loss to your vehicle or personal property. We suggest that you do not leave valuables in your car.

Pet Policy

  • While we adore our furry friends too, Blue Vista Motor Lodge does not accept animals as guests. We recommend Best Friends Boarding, only a 2 minute drive away, which offers unlimited in and out privileges. You can bring your pet along for a hike or a country drive and then know they are safely supervised while you are out for dinner or visiting the museums.   • Traveling with a service animal? Please call to make arrangements with our team!

  • Unauthorized animals brought into your guest room will trigger an additional cleaning fee of $200.00

ADA Policy

  • Blue Vista Motor Lodge is happy to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We offer an accessible room and outdoor amenities. Please let us know if you need additional accommodations during your stay.

Guest Safety

  • As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive visits from.

  • Closed circuit security cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded.

  • Blue Vista Motor Lodge is not responsible for personal injury associated with the use of our hot tub, sauna, or fire pits. Please enjoy these amenities at your own risk.

  • Our rooms are equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

COVID Considerations

  • Our traditional motor lodge layout means that each room is entered from the exterior porches. There are no inside hallways, except for the stairways to the second floor deck.

  • Each of our rooms is heated and cooled with a high efficiency mini-split system serving only that room. No air is circulated between rooms.

  • If you prefer a touchless check in, we can coordinate your visit with out the need to enter our reception area.
