Morning House Manager

Job Purpose:

The House Manager is the point of contact for guests at our front desk and supports day-to-day room turns and housekeeping operations. Successful candidates are highly organized, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills. The House Manager enjoys helping people and thrives in an environment where they can do a little bit of everything depending on the shifting priorities of the day!

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combination of:

    • Customer Service

    • Hospitality or Related Industry 

    • Housekeeping 

  • Must be able to work a combination of weekday and weekend mornings

  • Solid computer and phone skills required

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

Front Desk Operations:

  • Manage reservations for guests over the phone and in person

  • Utilize internal software to manage tasks and communicate with the team and guests

  • Answer inquiries on the phone and online

  • Ensure the smooth operation and guest access to our canteen, hot tubs and sauna

Housekeeping Operations:

  • Assist in managing inventory for rooms and janitorial functions

  • Oversee the organization and operation of all housekeeping supplies and equipment

  • Maintain schedule for deep cleaning and room maintenance

  • Turn rooms after our guests check out and ensure they are ready for new arrivals

  • Assist with washing and folding laundry

  • Requires standing, bending, lifting, squatting, reaching, and stretching

Compensation:

  • $18-$20/hour plus tips, commensurate with experience

  • 25 - 35 hours per week

  • Availability must include Sunday - Tuesday mornings
