Guest Service Manager

Job Purpose:

The Guest Service Manager ensures that every guest has an exceptional experience at our property by supporting operations, collaborating with team members, and interfacing with our guests in person, over the phone, and online. Successful candidates are outgoing, highly organized, and detail oriented with extensive customer service experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combination of:

    • Hospitality or Related Industry Leadership Position

    • Customer Service

    • Staff Supervision 

    • Sales and Marketing

  • Must be able to work a combination of weekday and weekend evening shifts, plus occasional morning shifts

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

Guest Experience:

  • Oversee day to day operations during Manager on Duty shifts

  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by welcoming guests, responding to guest needs, and meeting all requests in a timely and courteous fashion

    Listen to each guest to understand the goals of their visit and find ways to exceed their expectations

Front Desk Operations:

  • Manage reservations for guests both over the phone and in person

  • Utilize internal software to manage tasks and communicate with team members and guests

  • Ensure the smooth operation and guest access to our concession area, fire pits, hot tubs and sauna

  • Support the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams as needed 

Entrepreneurial Leadership Team:

  • Participate as a member of the leadership team to brainstorm, plan and implement innovative ways to grow and improve the business

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies and social media initiatives

  • Promote and embody the Blue Vista culture of operational excellence, genuine personal interactions and a dedication to creating memorable experiences to each and every guest 

Salary and Benefits:

$18 - $22 per hour commensurate with experience

20 - 30 hours per week

Full time, salaried option with health insurance and benefits for the right candidate
